Projekt Silent Killer plesna je predstava u dva dijela inspirirana radom sa djecom zaraženom virusom HIVa u Indiji.
Prvi dio predstave suvremena je priča o ženi s ulice koja prodaje svoje tijelo unatoč činjenici da boluje od AIDSa, gdje se koristi vokabular suvremene plesne tehnike.
Drugi dio predstave suvremena je rekonstrukcija klasične koreografije varnam (najkompleksnije koreografije klasičnog indijskog plesa, bharatanatjama) i govori o 15ogodišnjoj djevojčici zaraženoj HIVom, koja kreće u potragu za svojim ocem. Priča je ispričana kroz rase (opis emocija zapisanih u Natya Shastri, indijskoj knjizi o kazališnoj umjetnosti) te koristi tehniku bharatanatjama.
Project Silent Killer is a two part dance performance inspired by working with HIV positive children in India.
The first part is a contemporary story of a woman from the street who sells her body despite the fact that she has AIDS. It is performed using contemporary dance technique.
The second part is a contemporary reconstruction of varnam (the most complex choreography in classical Indian dance, Bharatanatyam) and speaks about 15-year-old HIV positive girl who decides to search for her father. The story is told through rasas (description of emotions written in Natya Shastra, Indian book about theatre) and uses Bharatanatyam technique.
